PWC Safety Regulations - Nebraska
In the state of Nebraska, persons operating a personal watercraft born after January 1, 2004, must successfully compete a boating safety course. Those less than 14 years of age cannot operate a PWC in Nebraska.
Those operators who are at least 14 but not yet 18 years of age are required to complete a specific course. The course accepted by the state of Nebraska is their 6-hour classroom course with a proctored exam. Individauls taking this course must pass with a 70% and carry proof of certification on their person.
It is unlawful for anyone under 16 years of age to tow anyone from a PWC..
While towing someone on skis, tube, or wakeboard from a personal watercraft there must be someone besides the operator to act as the observer on board, or to have a wide angled mirror.
Operating a PWC is only permitted between sunrise and sunset, no night time operating is permitted.
The USCG and your PWC insurance company will expect all federal and Missouri state regulations to be followed at all times.
